With over 40 years of expertise in Japan and the U.S., Sueko Oshimoto is a master of kimono styling, costume design, and contemporary fashion innovation. Since launching her career in the U.S. in 2005, she has trained and certified over 100 individuals in kimono dressing and has become a leading authority in Hollywood productions, opera, and high-fashion editorials.

In 2015, she launched her own kimono-inspired fashion brand, MOONIK, dedicated to redefining kimono fashion for women worldwide. Today, her mission continues—to bring the timeless beauty of kimono into the modern fashion landscape.
